Roskomnadzor cited LGBT propaganda as the reason for blocking the Shikimori website

The reason for blocking the website of the online anime encyclopedia Shikimori.one is LGBT propaganda (the international movement is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and is prohibited). This was reported to Izvestia on January 28 by the press service of Roskomnadzor.

"We expect the resource to remove LGBT materials aimed at a children's audience," the message says.

The day before, it was reported that Roskomnadzor had restricted access to the Shikimori website. The restriction of access to the site began on January 22. The current status of the page in the database is "Access is restricted to the site".
