A toy grenade exploded in the hands of a child in Stavropol
In Stavropol, a child was injured due to the explosion of a pyrotechnic device in the form of a toy grenade. This was announced on January 27 by the head of the city Ivan Ulyanchenko in his Telegram channel.
"In Stavropol, a child was injured last night by a pyrotechnic device," the publication says.
According to Ulyanchenko, the boy found an unknown object, similar to a plastic toy in the form of a grenade, on the street and brought it home, where the explosion occurred. After examining the child, it was decided to hospitalize him in the ophthalmology department of the regional children's hospital.
Ulyanchenko noted that the competent authorities are investigating the incident. Legal assessments will be given on the fact of the incident.
On January 17, a gas cylinder exploded in a roadside cafe in the Kochubeyevsky municipal District of the Stavropol Territory, injuring eight people. The head of the district, Oleg Borzov, said that the incident occurred on the territory along the Kavkaz highway. The Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case into a gas explosion at a roadside cafe.
