Malkin is recognized as the third star of the Pittsburgh vs. Vancouver match

Russian forward of the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey club Evgeni Malkin has been named the third star of the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season match against the Vancouver Canucks. The meeting took place on January 26 and ended with a 2-3 victory for the Penguins.

Malkin opened the scoring in the 26th minute. Also, striker Benjamin Kindel scored a double for Pittsburgh. Jake Debrask and Theodores Blugers scored goals for Vancouver. Malkin's puck allowed the athlete to set a Pittsburgh record: he became the first player in the club's history to score goals in three away matches in a row at the age of 39.
