Director Konstantin Bogomolov called his appointment as acting rector of the Moscow Art Theater Studio School a great honor and a serious challenge. He stated this on January 23 in a conversation with Izvestia.

"It is a great honor and a serious challenge for me. This is a great school and a great tradition, a treasure of Russian culture," Bogomolov said.

He stressed that he intends to continue to develop and enhance the fame of the Moscow Art Theater Studio School as the country's leading theater university. At the same time, Bogomolov will continue his work as the artistic director of the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya.
