Russia has received from the United States a draft charter of the "Peace Council" on the governance of the Gaza Strip. This was announced on January 20 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a press conference, summing up the work of the department in 2025.

"We have recently received specific proposals, the draft charter of this structure," Lavrov said.
