Yulia Tymoshenko, the leader of the Batkivshchyna party, could face up to ten years in prison as part of an anti-corruption investigation. This was reported on January 14 by the newspaper "Country.ua" in the Telegram channel.
"The article under which she is being held (Part 4 of Article 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — offering, promising or providing unlawful benefits to an official) provides for up to ten years in prison," the article says.
At the same time, as the newspaper notes, in the case of Tymoshenko's detention, it is likely that she will be released on bail if a preventive measure in the form of arrest is chosen at all.
