An emergency situation regime was introduced within the boundaries of the Rostov-on-Don microdistrict after an attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on January 14 by the mayor Alexander Scriabin.

"A decision has been made to introduce an emergency regime within the boundaries of the microdistrict where damage was caused after the UAV crash," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

The governor added that as a result of the incident, the work of the operational headquarters, commissions to assess the damage and a bypass to assess and fix the damage will be organized. In addition, after the incident, a temporary accommodation and food point for evacuated citizens will also be deployed.

According to Scriabin, work is being organized within the boundaries of the emergency zone to close the heating circuit in all residential areas affected by drones.

On the same day, the governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar, announced that an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces had been repelled overnight in 10 districts and cities of the region. It was clarified that due to the strike of Ukrainian drones, two private houses burned down in the Fakel garden association and Leninavan in the Myasnikovsky district.

In addition, the roof of one of the houses was damaged. As a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack, four civilians were injured, including a child, and a man was also killed.
