American composer Guy Moon, the author of music for popular animated series, including "SpongeBob Squarepants," has died at the age of 63. This was reported on January 10 by The Hollywood Reporter.
"According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's report and a statement from his family, Moon died on Thursday from injuries sustained in a traffic accident," the material says.
The four-time Emmy Award nominee has worked extensively with Nickelodeon throughout his career. He is also the author of music for such TV series as "Magic Parents", "The Addams Show", "Danny the Ghost" and "The Big Show".
His family announced that the composer's farewell will take place on his birthday, February 7, in Los Angeles, and later in his home state of Wisconsin.
