On January 11, American billionaire Elon Musk announced the decision to fully open the source code of the new algorithm of the social network X (ex. Twitter), including all the program code that determines the recommendations of organic posts and ads to users.

"We will make the new algorithm X, including all the code used to determine which organic and promotional posts are recommended to users, open source in seven days," he wrote in X.

According to Musk, the code will be published every four weeks to help developers understand what changes have been introduced.

The day before, American Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna announced her intention to initiate sanctions against Starmer and the UK in the event of a ban on the social network X. According to her, the relevant bill is already under preparation.
