Mikhail Degtyarev, Minister of Sports and Chairman of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC), fulfilled the New Year's dream of 16-year-old Mikhail from Moscow as part of the Christmas Tree of Wishes charity event. The January 4 footage is published by Izvestia.

The main gift for the student was a water polo ball with the signatures of the athletes of the national team. Besides him, the teenager received handball, soccer, volleyball, basketball and rugby balls, also signed by players of national teams.

The meeting was also attended by the players and coach of the national water polo team, as well as a representative of the Federation of Water Sports.

Degtyarev also presented flowers to the teenager's mother and sister.

On January 2, Russian Agriculture Minister Oksana Lut and Degtyarev also fulfilled the wishes of the children in the Christmas Tree of Wishes charity event. Degtyarev helped make the dream of 16-year-old Dmitry Onishchenko from Rostov-on-Don come true. Lut helped fulfill the dream of an 11-year-old resident of the Krasnodar Territory. Karina, a schoolgirl from Semigorsky farm, has long wanted to attend a professional cooking class.
