In the Krasnodar Territory, the restoration of the railway infrastructure damaged on December 31 as a result of abnormal snowfalls has been completed. Train traffic is organized in a regular mode. This was reported on January 3 in the Telegram channel of the North Caucasian Railway.

"In the Krasnodar Territory, the operation of transport infrastructure facilities damaged on December 31 due to abnormal snowfalls has been restored," the report says.

The work was carried out under the emergency regime introduced in the region. More than a thousand railway workers were involved in the elimination of the consequences of bad weather in the territory of the region. In addition, measures have been taken to reduce the backlog of trains from the established schedule.

Russian Railways specialists have fully restored the power supply to the contact network, as well as the operation of automatic train control systems.

On December 31, the press service of the Russian Railways informed that train No. 442 from Rostov to Adler was stopped in the Krasnodar Territory, which delayed 18 passenger trains. The reason for this was the disruption of the contact network between the Giray and Otrado-Kubanskaya stations due to adverse weather conditions.

At the same time, it was reported that 55 trains were delayed in the Krasnodar Territory due to abnormal snowfalls and disruptions in the timetable. The Southern Transport Prosecutor's Office has begun an inspection.
