The incident occurred in the 34th minute when the goalkeeper suddenly fell in his penalty area during an attack on the opponent's goal. The referee stopped the game, after which the medical team provided first aid to the athlete. After a few minutes, he came to his senses, and in the 40th minute the match continued.

It is clarified that, despite what happened, Abuzaid stayed on the field and finished the match. At the same time, a possible cause of a sharp deterioration in the athlete's health could be a short-term drop in blood pressure or glucose in the body.

American basketball player Ethan Dietz, who played for the Connors College team, died on November 27 at the age of 20 due to an injury sustained during a game by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Dietz played as a forward.
