The State Duma proposed to introduce a tax deduction for veterinary services

On December 18, deputies of the New People faction submitted to the State Duma a bill providing for a tax deduction for veterinary services.

The draft law, which was reviewed by TASS, suggests adding a provision to Article 219 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation "Social tax deductions", according to which owners of registered pets will be able to receive a tax deduction for the treatment of pets, including preventive and diagnostic examinations, as well as for the purchase of veterinary drugs.
