A fire broke out at a refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban after a UAV crash

Fragments of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) were recorded falling at the site of an oil refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban. This was reported on December 17 in the Telegram channel of the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory.

According to the regional authorities, a part of the technological equipment and pipeline caught fire due to falling debris. The fire area was about 100 sq. m.

The fire was quickly localized and completely eliminated by the staff of the enterprise and departments of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Earlier in the day, two people were injured by drone debris in the Slavyansky district of the Krasnodar Territory. It was noted that the wounded were hospitalized. It was clarified that at least five houses in the private sector of Slavyansk-on-Kuban and in the village of Coastal were also damaged by debris. Roof and window damage has been recorded in some houses.
