The Russian Defense Ministry released footage of the submarine after Kiev's statements about its destruction.

On December 16, the Russian Ministry of Defense showed on video a submarine, the alleged destruction of which was previously announced by the special services of Ukraine.

The footage published by the agency shows a submarine of the Russian Black Sea Fleet without visible damage.

Also, the head of the press service of the Black Sea Fleet, Captain First rank Alexei Rulev, said that not a single Russian ship or submarine stationed in the bay of the Novorossiysk naval Base, as well as their crews, were damaged.

A day earlier, Rulev said that information about the alleged destruction by an unmanned underwater vehicle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) of one of the submarines of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Novorossiysk Bay was invalid. He also noted that currently all ships and crews are serving normally.
