The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation has added Deutsche Welle Corporation to the list of undesirable organizations

The German media company Deutsche Welle (DW) (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) is considered undesirable in Russia. This is stated on December 16 in the register of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation.

"The list of foreign and international organizations whose activities are considered undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation: <...> Deutsche Welle Media Corporation (Deutsche Welle), Federal Republic of Germany," the list says.

The State Duma is preparing amendments to the draft law on the seizure of property of citizens who oppose the interests of the Russian Federation abroad.

Vasily Piskarev, chairman of the State Duma commission investigating foreign interference in the internal affairs of the Russian Federation, said on December 13 that the German media company Deutsche Welle was at the top of the Western media, actively conducting hostile anti-Russian propaganda. According to him, DW has its own media academy, which has been training disinformation specialists for a long time.
