A native of one of the neighboring countries was stripped of Russian citizenship for insulting Russian military personnel. This was announced on December 16 by the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
"The Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Magadan region has decided to terminate the citizenship of the Russian Federation in respect of a 34-year—old native of one of the neighboring countries," the press service said in a Telegram channel.
During the inspection, it was found that the woman repeatedly insulted Russian servicemen in one of the messengers. Despite receiving three administrative penalties under the article on public actions aimed at discrediting the Russian Armed Forces, she continued to speak negatively about the military and Russians in general.
In response to these actions, the Migration Department decided to strip her of her citizenship and seize her Russian passport.
On December 15, the press service of the FSB regional directorate reported that in the Belgorod region, law enforcement agencies had arrested a local resident who was transmitting information about the Russian army to the Ukrainian side. According to the agency, the defendant independently established contact with representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU). As part of the cooperation, she provided information about the location of the Russian military.
