Unknown people opened fire on people on the beach in Sydney

Unidentified gunmen opened fire on people at Bondi Beach in Sydney. This was reported by CNN.

Local police urged people to take shelter in a safe place.

"Police are responding to an evolving incident at Bondi Beach and are urging the public to avoid the area. Everyone who is at the scene should take shelter in a safe place," reads a message on the page of law enforcement agencies on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

According to The Guardian newspaper, two intruders were detained.
