Judoka Endovitsky won gold at the Grand Slam tournament in Tokyo
Russian judoka Valery Endovitsky won the Grand Slam tournament in Tokyo on December 6.
In the final of the tournament in the over 100 kg category, the Russian athlete defeated the representative of judoka from Japan, Hegu Otu.
It is specified that the tournament will end on December 7.
Earlier, on December 1, Russian athletes took first place in the medal standings of the Grand Slam tournament in Abu Dhabi, which became the first international start after the decision of the Executive Committee of the International Judo Federation to return the team the right to compete under its flag. The Russian athletes won six awards: two gold and four silver. Ayub Bliev and Arman Adamyan became champions in their weight categories.
