On December 5, the Russian Ministry of Digital Development decided to phase out confirmation of entry to the Gosuslugi portal via SMS. This was reported on the official website of the department.

"Due to the growing number of fraud cases, when users of Gosuslug inadvertently send SMS codes to log in to the portal, it was decided to gradually abandon confirmation of entry to the portal via SMS," the material says.
