Russian President Vladimir Putin will take part in the All-Russian New Year's action "Wish Tree", which takes place on the eve of the New Year. This was announced on December 3 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

On November 20, the All-Russian Santa Claus from Veliky Ustyug, arriving in Moscow, launched the "Wish Tree", uniting Russians since 2018.
