Fadeev: performing prayer in the subway contradicts the principles of authentic Islam

Chairman of the Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights (HRC) On November 3, Valery Fadeev called for the abandonment of prayer in public transport.
"This contradicts, in my opinion, the principles of authentic Islam. <...> I am not a Muslim, but I will say that this is wrong," he said in an interview with RBC.
According to Fadeev, Islamic figures should engage in education to prevent such practices.
