The death toll from Cyclone Ditva in Sri Lanka has risen to 334 people. This was reported on November 30 by The New Indian Express newspaper with reference to the disaster management agency.

"The death toll from floods and landslides caused by Cyclone Ditva has risen sharply to 334 people," the publication says.

According to the newspaper, about 400 people were missing as a result of the natural cyclone. Currently, the rains have stopped, but some low-lying areas have been flooded.

On November 29, it was reported that 123 people died in Sri Lanka as a result of tropical cyclone Ditva. Another 130 people are missing due to the weather conditions. They also noted that search and rescue operations are continuing.
