New laws affecting migration policy, medical insurance for foreigners, and criminal liability for crimes against state security will come into force in Russia in December. This was announced by the chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin in his channel in MAX.

As part of the experiment, biometric data of migrants will be collected at all technically equipped checkpoints. From November 28, only foreigners who have been legally working in Russia for at least five years will be eligible for free medical care.

Since November 17, criminal liability for crimes against the security of the state has been tightened. "Life imprisonment has been imposed for inciting children to terrorist or sabotage activities, and the statute of limitations for these crimes has been lifted," Volodin said.

State support for NGOs working with veterans of the SVR is also expanding, and citizens are being informed about social measures through Gosuslugi. Since December 14, the requirements for the allocation of state corporations' funds have been tightened, and a chapter on state supervision has been introduced into the law on atomic energy.
