More than 120 people died due to cyclone "Ditva" in Sri Lanka
In Sri Lanka, 123 people died as a result of tropical cyclone Ditva. This was reported on November 29 by Jaffna Muslim with reference to the country's emergency management center.
"123 people died <...> due to extreme weather conditions in the country," Facebook said (owned by Meta, a company whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
According to the ministry, another 130 people are missing due to the weather conditions. They also noted that search and rescue operations are continuing.
