In Sri Lanka, 123 people died as a result of tropical cyclone Ditva. This was reported on November 29 by Jaffna Muslim with reference to the country's emergency management center.

"123 people died <...> due to extreme weather conditions in the country," Facebook said (owned by Meta, a company whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).

According to the ministry, another 130 people are missing due to the weather conditions. They also noted that search and rescue operations are continuing.

More than 150,000 people were evacuated in the Philippines on November 3 due to typhoon Kalmaegi, with authorities warning of torrential rains, winds and waves up to 3 m high. The total death toll from Typhoon Kalmaegi and super Typhoon Fung Wong in the Philippines has risen to 297.

On the same day, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences to Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos in connection with the victims and destruction caused by the typhoon.
