The latest Russian Supercam S180 reconnaissance drone was unveiled at the Dubai Airshow 2025 international air show in the UAE. This was announced on November 17 by Ekaterina Zgirovskaya, the official representative of the Unmanned Systems Group of companies.

An airplane-type drone has been given the opportunity for short-term acceleration, which makes it inaccessible to FPV drones. The Supercam range is used in the civil and military spheres, and the new model is designed for monitoring and performing reconnaissance tasks lasting up to two hours.

"It is compatible with the flagship target loads of the Supercam S350 UAV (Full HD video cameras, full—frame cameras, HD thermal imagers), has a more compact size (wingspan 1.8 m), can be launched from both elastic and pneumatic catapults," RIA Novosti quoted Zgirovskaya as saying.

It is noted that the S180 model has received an increased carrying capacity, which allows it to be equipped with additional sets of radio and video intelligence.
