Three AfD deputies attended a symposium in Sochi despite threats of expulsion from the party

Three representatives of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party attended the BRICS—Europe international symposium in Sochi despite warnings of possible sanctions, including expulsion from the party. This was reported on November 7 by the Suddeutsche Zeitung (SZ) newspaper.

Bundestag deputy Steffen Cotre, head of the AFD faction in the Parliament of Saxony Joerg Urban and European Parliament member Hans Neuhoff arrived in Russia to participate in the event.

It is noted that the politicians planned to discuss the issue of frozen Russian assets, as well as the issue of sanctions against the Russian Federation.
