China has threatened Japan with a crushing defeat over Taiwan

Chinese Defense Ministry spokesman Jiang Bin said on November 14 that Japan's attempt to forcefully interfere in the issue of Taiwan's ownership would lead to serious consequences for Tokyo.

According to him, the Japanese side should remember the lessons of its own history and avoid taking risks by standing up for Taipei. Beijing believes that any attempts by Japan to support the city militarily are doomed to failure.

He stressed that the Taiwan issue is solely an internal matter of China and does not allow external interference.
