An accident involving a bus carrying schoolchildren and a truck occurred in the Chelyabinsk region. Four teenagers were injured in the collision. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.
"Today, on the 1784th km of the M-5 Ural highway, a Setra bus collided with a passing MAZ semi—trailer (truck carrier)," the report says.
According to preliminary data, a bus traveling from Chelyabinsk to Miass collided with a MAZ car traveling in the same direction. At the time of the accident, there were 51 children on the bus who were on their way to the Sunny Valley resort.
The causes of the accident could be ice and the actions of drivers. The semi-trailer of the truck skidded, after which there was a collision with a bus.
It is noted that an investigation is underway into the incident.
Earlier, on November 13, it was reported that one person was killed in an accident in Dagestan. It was clarified that the accident occurred on the Makhachkala— Buinaksk highway. As a result of the incident, five people were injured.
