Approximately 28 billion rubles of debt will be written off from 15 regions of the Russian Federation as part of the regional support program, which was initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was announced on November 13 on the website of the Government of the Russian Federation.
It is specified that the corresponding order has already been signed by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
"By the end of 2025, up to two thirds of the debt on budget loans totaling 27.9 billion rubles will be written off to 15 more Russian regions," the report says.
