The Russian government will allocate 1.4 billion rubles for the development of road infrastructure in several regions, including Kaliningrad and Kirov regions. This was announced on November 13 by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, opening a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

"Today we will consider allocating 1.4 billion rubles to the budgets of three Russian regions," Mishustin said.

According to him, the funds will be allocated for the Kaliningrad, Kirov regions and Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug.

In addition, Mishustin stressed the importance of affordable air transport for residents of remote regions and hard-to-reach areas.

Earlier, on November 6, at a government meeting, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said that as part of the budget amendments, more than 75.5 billion rubles would be additionally allocated for the repair and construction of road infrastructure. Then he noted that the changes would be carried out within the framework of the national project "Infrastructure for Life".
