American rapper and producer Sean Combs, known as P. Diddy, has had his prison term extended. This was announced on November 13 by the PageSix portal.

It was previously planned that the actor would leave Fort Dix prison on May 8, 2028, however, according to the source of the publication, the new release date is set for June 4, 2028.

The reasons for the deadline change were not disclosed. PageSix notes that Combs allegedly violated the rules of detention in a correctional facility several times. Representatives of the musician have not yet commented on the situation.

The TMZ portal reported on November 7 that P. Diddy was convicted of drinking alcohol in the Fort Dix federal prison. The musician was caught drinking alcohol, which was prepared in prison conditions.

The musician was taken into custody in New York on September 17, 2024 by court order. It was clarified that he has been under intense scrutiny since his ex-girlfriend accused him of human trafficking and years of violence in 2023. On the same day, law enforcement officers charged the rapper with human trafficking and prostitution.

Later, on October 3 of this year, Combs was sentenced to 50 months in prison for human trafficking and sexual assault. US President Donald Trump, in turn, announced on October 7 that P. Diddy had asked for his pardon.

On October 28, ABC News reported that P. Diddy could be released in three years. However, according to the publication, this date may change: if the star's lawyer's request for transfer and treatment for drug addiction is granted, the period will be reduced by 12 months. TMZ published the first photo of Diddy on October 31. The published footage showed an orange prison cap, a dark blue down jacket and a graying beard of the rapper.
