The Paris Court of Appeal has released from custody a 38-year-old woman involved in the Louvre robbery. This was reported on November 12 by the French newspaper Le Figaro, citing Agence France-Presse (AFP).

According to the investigation, the suspect was detained during the second raid conducted in late October. She was charged with complicity in an organized robbery and participation in a criminal community for the purpose of committing a crime.

It is reported that the investigative chamber lifted the preventive measure in the form of detention and decided to release the accused under judicial control.

According to the court's decision, the woman is prohibited from contacting alleged accomplices or co-perpetrators, as well as from leaving the territory of France. To fulfill this condition, she must hand over her passport.

The investigation into the Louvre robbery, during which criminals stole valuable art objects, continues. The investigation establishes possible organizers and sales channels of the stolen goods.

On October 19, French Minister of Culture Rachida Dati announced the robbery of the Louvre. According to her, the robbery took only a few minutes and was carried out by professionals. On the same day, Le Parisien learned about the discovery of the broken crown of Emperor Napoleon III's wife Eugenie, who, among other jewelry, was exhibited at the Apollo Gallery.

On October 29, Paris Prosecutor Laura Becco announced that two detainees in the Louvre robbery case had partially admitted their guilt. According to her, they are charged with committing numerous robberies, punishable by imprisonment for up to 15 years and a significant fine. Becco added that the jewelry stolen from the museum has not yet been found.

French RTL radio reported on November 30 that five new suspects in the Louvre robbery had been detained. It was noted that the suspects were arrested simultaneously in different parts of the Paris region. According to the LCI TV channel, four people were detained as part of the investigation on Wednesday evening, October 29.

The Blick newspaper reported that the robbers who stole jewelry from the Louvre in Paris tried to sell part of the stolen to the CGI Group security company via the darknet to Israel. According to the head of the company, Zwick Nave, five days after the robbery, the company was contacted by a man who introduced himself as a representative of the robbers. At the same time, the company's management agreed to enter into negotiations with the alleged criminals in order to establish their identities and the location of the exhibits.
