The Russian Armed Forces have created troops of unmanned systems, and combat personnel are being built up.

The creation of a new type of military, the Unmanned Systems Forces (UAVs), has been completed in the Russian Armed Forces (AF). This was announced on November 11 by the deputy chief of the BPS troops, Colonel Sergey Ishtuganov, in an interview. KP.RU .

According to the officer, an organizational and staff structure has already been approved for the new branch of the armed forces, leadership has been appointed and military management bodies have been established throughout the country. The formation of regular regiments and units has also been completed.

Ishtuganov noted that the combat activities of the new formations are carried out according to a single plan and are coordinated with other groups of troops, which ensures the integration of unmanned systems into the overall control system.

"At the same time, the build-up of the existing combat personnel and the creation of new units of the BPS troops continues. We appoint operators, engineers, technicians and other support specialists to the units," he said.
