Vorobyov visited a boy injured in the explosion in Krasnogorsk

The governor of the Moscow region, Andrei Vorobyov, visited a boy who was injured in an explosion at a playground in Krasnogorsk. He announced this on November 12 in his Telegram channel.

"I visited 9-year-old Gleb, who was injured on a playground in Krasnogorsk. He is currently under the supervision of doctors at the L.M. Roshal Children's Center," the report says.

According to the governor, the boy's condition is serious. The operation, which lasted six hours, was successful, but doctors had to amputate part of his fingers due to his injuries.

The head of the region expressed gratitude to the doctors for their prompt assistance and high professionalism, and also stated that the authorities would provide the boy's family with all necessary support.

Earlier that day, the coach of a sports club in Krasnogorsk, Vladimir Sharupich, told Izvestia that the boy was injured after he decided to pick up a banknote from the ground. According to the man, the child bent down to pick up the money, after which an explosion occurred. As a result, the teenager suffered a serious hand injury, after which doctors partially amputated the fingers of the victim.

Later it became known about the initiation of a criminal case on the attempted murder of the Investigative Committee for the Moscow region. According to the investigation, the night before the teenager noticed an unidentified explosive device on the ground near an apartment building, disguised as a gift package to which a 10-ruble bill was attached. According to an eyewitness of the incident, the explosive device was a bundle of ten-ruble bills wrapped in a tube and tied with a red gift ribbon.

According to the official representative of the Investigative Committee of Russia Svetlana Petrenko, the mass of the improvised explosive device (IED) was 10 g in TNT equivalent. According to her, investigative examinations, molecular genetic and fingerprint forensic examinations are being conducted on the fact of the incident.
