A magnetic storm is expected on Earth on November 11. The corresponding forecast was made on November 10 by Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos Weather Center.
"Magnetic storms are forecast on Tuesday evening," Leus wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to the expert's forecast, the intensity of fluctuations in the magnetic field will vary from weak to medium levels (G1—G2). Geomagnetic activity will continue until Wednesday morning.
The situation is expected to return to normal in the afternoon of November 12.
Earlier, on November 9, a powerful flare was recorded on the Sun, directed towards the Earth. It was clarified that the final flash score reached the level of X1.79, which is one of the highest.
