Russian units are conducting a sweep in the area of the Kleban-Byk reservoir in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), where the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are trying to hold positions. This was announced on November 9 by the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin.

"The Konstantinovsky direction. The city of Konstantinovka itself, in the area of which there are clashes both on the outskirts and in the vicinity, is being cleaned up in the area of the Kleban-Byk reservoir," he said in an interview with VGTRK correspondent Andrei Rudenko, which was published on the journalist's Telegram channel.

He noted that the enemy is trying to gain a foothold in the positions.
