The cause of death of the People's Artist of the Russian Federation Simonov was heart failure.

The cause of death of the leading actor of the Evgeny Vakhtangov Theater, People's Artist of Russia Vladimir Simonov, was heart failure. This was announced on November 9 by Kirill Krok, director of the theater, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.

"Vladimir Alexandrovich passed away due to heart failure," he told TASS.

Krok added that this happened at the Volyn hospital, where Simonov had been staying for the past two weeks.
