The office of the Head of the White House, Donald Trump, plans to purchase large warehouses for temporary accommodation of illegal migrants in the United States before their deportation. This was reported on November 8 by the NBC television channel, citing sources in the Ministry of Internal Security and the administration.

"The Trump administration is exploring the possibility of buying warehouses that were designed for customers such as Amazon and converting them into immigration detention centers before their deportation," RIA Novosti quoted the broadcast as saying.

According to the channel's sources, the American authorities are considering warehouses located in the south of the country, near airports, from which most deportations are carried out. However, as noted, the discussion of a possible deal is currently at an early stage. The amount of the possible contract has not yet been disclosed.

The Washington Post (WP) learned on September 19 that the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is planning to hire more than 10,000 more employees to combat illegal migration. The article noted that for this purpose, this department needs to reserve about 300 office premises across the country in order to distribute new employees to them.
