It is specified that the incident occurred in the village of Medny. The Ministry of Emergency Situations added that specialists are taking all necessary measures to contain the fire. 40 people and 12 pieces of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.

The day before, it was reported that a private house caught fire in the Novosibirsk region, and a minor girl died as a result of the incident. It is specified that a criminal case was opened on the fact of the incident under Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence").
