A farewell ceremony for TV presenter Yuri Nikolaev has begun in Moscow.

Friends, colleagues and fans of Yuri Nikolaev gathered at the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow to say goodbye to the actor and TV presenter. Footage from the scene of the November 8 events is published by Izvestia.

Nikolayev died on November 4 at the age of 76. On the same day, a source from Izvestia reported that the TV presenter had been hospitalized due to a deteriorating health condition. The doctors took him to the intensive care unit. According to the source, Nikolaev had been fighting cancer for a long time.
