The Chinese company XPeng Aridge (formerly AeroHT) has launched test production of a vehicle with a Land Aircraft Carrier (LAC) flying module. This was reported on November 4 by the Xinhua news agency.

The plant with an area of about 120,000 square meters is located in the Huangpu district of Guangzhou, the administrative center of Guangdong Province. It is specified that the company plans to produce up to 10 thousand flying modules annually, but at the initial stage production will be limited to 5 thousand units. When fully loaded, the line will be able to assemble one device every half hour. Mass production and deliveries will start in 2026.

"The electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft offers both automatic and manual flight modes. Its automatic mode allows for intelligent route planning, as well as one—touch takeoff and landing," the agency added.

On June 11, US President Donald Trump signed a series of decrees aimed at accelerating the development of the industry for the production of drones, flying cars and supersonic flights in the United States. The decrees are aimed at overcoming bureaucratic obstacles that have allegedly hindered the development of the American drone industry and supersonic flight technologies "for generations."
