A yellow weather hazard level has been declared in Moscow and the Moscow Region for Sunday evening, night and morning due to the expected fog. This was announced on November 1 by the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia.

"In the period from 21:00 Moscow time to 09:00 Moscow time on Sunday, November 2, fog is expected in places," follows from the message provided by TASS.

It is specified that the yellow danger level indicates potentially unfavorable weather conditions. According to the agency, meteorologists expect cloudy weather with rare clearings and no precipitation. At night, the temperature in the capital will be from 2 to 4 degrees above zero, and in the Moscow region — from 0 to 5 degrees. On Sunday afternoon, the temperature in the capital will rise to 7 degrees, and in the region — up to 8 degrees. South-easterly and southerly winds with a speed of 3-8 m/s are expected.

Earlier in the day, Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center, said that in Russia, excess precipitation in November is expected in the Northwestern, Siberian, Far Eastern and Ural Federal districts. According to him, the largest amount of precipitation will fall on the Kola Peninsula, in the Murmansk and Leningrad regions, Karelia, as well as in the north of the Urals — in the Yamalo-Nenets and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrugs.
