In Omsk, a local resident stabbed her sister in the stomach to prove to her that she could injure a person. A criminal case has been opened. This was announced on October 30 in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Omsk region.

It is noted that two women were drinking alcoholic beverages and watching a movie, while in one of the scenes one character stabbed the other. After that, the older sister began to tease the younger one that she was not capable of injuring a person with a weapon.

"A relative, without thinking twice, stabbed her in the abdomen with a knife. Realizing what had happened, the suspect called an ambulance," the Telegram channel of the regional police wrote.

According to the agency, the victim is receiving the necessary medical care, her condition is stable. A criminal case has been opened under the article on intentional infliction of serious harm to health. The woman faces imprisonment for up to 10 years.

Earlier, on August 26, an 18-year-old man attacked two men with a knife in Pushkin Square in St. Petersburg. It was noted that the victims were handed over to doctors with stab wounds. The attacker was arrested.
