The basic principles of the Autumn Detox diet for weight loss

The autumn detox program is based on the inclusion of seasonal vegetables and fruits typical for November in the diet. The basis of nutrition consists of pumpkin, zucchini, root vegetables and late berries, which provide the body with fiber and vitamins. The program is designed for seven days and involves five meals a day with a drinking regime.

The daily caloric content of the diet varies from 1,200 to 1,500 kcal, which ensures safe weight loss. Special attention is paid to cooking methods — the advantage is given to baking, stewing and steaming. The program eliminates strict restrictions and is aimed at developing healthy eating habits.

Seven-day diet menu for fast weight loss

The daily menu includes three main meals and two snacks, which maintains a stable blood sugar level. Breakfast contains complex carbohydrates and proteins, lunch — protein dishes with vegetables, dinner — light protein products. Snacks consist of fruits, nuts and fermented dairy products.

Thursday and Friday repeat the meal plan with varying protein components and vegetable side dishes. Saturday and Sunday include a more varied menu with the addition of fruit smoothies and nut mixes. Each day involves the use of 1.5–2 liters of pure water and herbal teas.

Diet results and precautions

Completing the detox program requires a smooth return to a standard diet over the next 7-10 days. One or two new products from the prohibited list are introduced daily, starting with whole-grain bread and fermented milk drinks. The daily caloric content gradually increases by 100-150 kcal per day.

Before starting a detox program, you should consult with a therapist or a nutritionist. Absolute contraindications are pregnancy, lactation, and chronic diseases in the acute stage. If weakness, dizziness, or digestive disorders occur, the program should be discontinued.
