Pumpkin Latte: how to make the main drink of autumn at home

Pumpkin latte has become a symbol of the autumn season. The secret of popularity lies in the harmonious combination of the natural sweetness of pumpkin and spicy spices — cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cloves.

To prepare a classic pumpkin latte for one serving, you will need:

  • 200-250 g of peeled pumpkin

  • 60-70 g of freshly roasted coffee or a serving of espresso

  • 250-300 ml of milk with a fat content of 3.2%

  • 100 ml of water

  • 50 g of sugar

  • 1 teaspoon of nutmeg

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon dried ginger

  • 1 stick of cloves

The cooking process begins with the preparation of pumpkin puree. Peeled pumpkin is cut into pieces and baked in the oven at 200 degrees for 40 minutes. Mashed potatoes are made from the finished pumpkin, water, sugar and all spices are added, after which they cook over medium heat for 12-15 minutes, stirring constantly. The mixture should boil twice and acquire a caramel hue.

The final stage is the preparation of espresso. Add 1-2 teaspoons of pumpkin syrup to it. Milk is whipped until foam forms and poured into coffee. The finished drink is decorated with pumpkin syrup and sprinkled with cinnamon.

Pumpkin puree is rich in beta-carotene, which supports eye health and strengthens the immune system, while vitamins C and E help fight viruses. Spices have a powerful antioxidant effect, slow down cell aging and reduce the risk of inflammatory processes.

Sea buckthorn raf: a new trend in Russian coffee shops

Sea buckthorn raf has become a prime example of the local coffee trend in Russia in 2025. The drink combines coffee with sea buckthorn sauce, honey and butter, which creates a taste of sourness and sweetness.

Ingredients for sea buckthorn sauce:

  • 600 g of sea buckthorn

  • 300 g of sugar

  • 300 ml of filtered water

  • 2.5 g of cloves

  • 2.5 g of peppercorns

  • a shot of espresso

  • 10 g of butter

  • 30 g of honey

Sea buckthorn, sugar, water, cloves and pepper are placed in a saucepan, brought to a boil, stirring constantly, then reduce the temperature to 120 degrees and cook for about 20 minutes. After that, the mixture is crushed with an immersion blender at minimum power so that all the berries burst, but the seeds are not crushed. The finished sauce is cooled for 30-40 minutes, rubbed through a sieve.

Next, you need to make an espresso, and then add butter, honey and sea buckthorn sauce to it. After that, beat the mass.

This coffee is very useful. Sea buckthorn has an antiviral effect, strengthens the immune system and promotes wound healing. The drink helps to improve digestion, prevents atherosclerosis and strengthens the nervous system.
