Actor Petrov noted the talent of his colleague and friend Roman Popov
The star of the TV series "Policeman from Rublevka", actor Roman Popov, was a brave and talented man who became an example for many. This was announced on October 28 by the actor's colleague on the series Alexander Petrov.
In a post on the social network Instagram (owned by Meta, whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in Russia), the actor also showed a joint archive photo with Popov.
"You will always remain in our memory as a very kind, very brave, very talented person! You had incredible strength and courage! You are a real example for everyone! A real man! Loving his family, genuinely and just like that," said the actor.
According to Petrov, Popov was always ready for the day of filming, and also treated everyone on the set with love and sincerity, while remaining attentive and easy. He added that the actor called himself a man who "knows how to smile with the back of his head" and treat life with humor.
A source from Izvestia reported Popov's death on October 28. The actor died at the age of 40 from a recurrence of brain cancer. Hovhannes Grigoryan, a friend of the actor and a resident of the Comedy Club, said that the actor's recurrence of brain cancer was developing very quickly.
