The Ministry of Labor announced the early payment of pensions at the end of December.

Russians who receive pensions on bank cards will receive payments for January ahead of schedule — at the end of December. This was announced on October 27 by the Minister of Labor Anton Kotyakov.

"In December, we will pay two pensions — the December and January pensions, which we will bring to the Russians ahead of schedule," TASS quoted him as saying.

Kotyakov clarified that this is due to 12 days off in January, due to which the January advance payment amount will be higher than last year.

It is specified that for those who receive pensions through the bank, payments for January will be received in December. At the same time, post offices will receive funds for the payment of pensions also in December, but they will begin distributing them to recipients according to the usual schedule — from January 3.
