The peer of the Labor Party, Lord Maurice Glasman, said that the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, should stop trying to crack down on opposition representatives outside the country. His words on October 26 are quoted by The Sunday Times newspaper.

Glasman made this statement while commenting on the extradition case of politician Alexander Granovsky, who lives in the UK.

"If Ukraine wants to have stable and long—term relations with the UK, then it should stop using patronage and money to commit political vendettas," Lord Glasman stressed.

He added that the Granovsky trial is only part of a larger campaign by President Zelensky aimed at "legitimately eliminating opponents."
