In Russia, they told me when the word "you" should be capitalized. Pavel Katyshev, Head of the Department of General and Russian Linguistics at the Pushkin Institute, shared this information on October 26.

"In literary speech, it is recommended to capitalize the personal pronoun "you" when it is necessary to politely address one specific person — in letters, official documents. For example: congratulations, we inform you, in response to your request," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
